An Empathetic Paintbrush
I prioritize expressing the dynamic emotions of African Americans through the timelessness of Fine arts. This allows me to contribute substance to a narrative that has been far out of Black people's control within a field dominated by those who oppress people of color. I hope to inspire and support upcoming artists and children from the urban areas of America by allowing my artwork to be a mirror for those who struggle to see themselves in a positive and beautiful light.
Enjoy reading about different things I have learned about in my artistic journey. I made this blog because rarely do we ever talk about our emotional journey as artists. And frankly, that's something I miss in all the advice out there. Being an artist is a vulnerable experience and we shouldn't have to experience this on our own.
